Heroes may seem old-fashioned today. Many people are cynical and seem to enjoy discrediting role models more than creating new ones or cherishing those they already have. Some people, moreover, object to the very idea of heroes, arguing that we should not exalt individuals who, after all, are only flesh and blood, just like the rest of us. But we desperately need heroes—to teach us, to captivate us through their words and deeds, to inspire us to greatness.

Is there a value in celebrating certain individuals as heroes? Plan and write a blog in which you develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience, or observations.
Well I do think that you should celebrate all the heros theses days because they save peoples lives everyday. Like for examples firefighters they risk their lives everyday to save everybody elses lives. Another examples are cops they are the many people that put their lives in their on hands everyday just getting up to go to work. Like for example lets say there is a bank robbering going on and there are hostages cops do what ever they can to saves that persons lives that even means dieing in the scence. So if we dont celebrate are heros for helping use and letting use live are lifes in peace who will?
